this week i am performing in "on the town" at the city center as part of a special encores! presentation celebrating leonard bernstein in all his glory! we perform november 19th through the 23rd, with 2 performances on satuday, the 22nd. it is a beautiful production.... well, well, well worth the ticket price.

i will also be singing in a benefit for ASTEP on december 1st, which i am very excited about!

OMG, OMGYG... blonde may be closing on october 19th but...

i just started rehearsals for an enchanting little show called "glimpses of the moon" that will perform every monday starting october 20th at the oak room in the algonquin hotel.

with a gorgeous score, a charming script, a captivating cast and masterful direction and choreography... it is sure to be a HIT!! (plug, plug, plug... hahaha!)

no, really... it's a show that i have fallen in love with after only 6 days of rehearsal and i hope everyone can come see it!

yes, it is true... LB is closing in 4 weeks. it has been quite a ride for me, i can't even imagine how the cast, crew, creative members and producers that have been with it from the beginning must be feeling! it is sad, and a little scary for what comes next but everything works out how it should. trust. faith. savings. :-)

as sad as i am for this (short-ish) chapter to be closing, i am finding solace in the fact that something amazing ALWAYS comes up. sometimes it comes at the very last minute, but something always works out! i am excited to see what's in store for me.... keep your fingers crossed!

i am finally getting settled into the schedule... the broadway schedule!! yay! the cast and crew are zany, funny, energetic, wonderful people and i am having a blast with the show... 7 costumes, endless accessories and 5 wigs... i really do play dress up for a living!

i have met the most incredible fans, the support and encouragement has been overwhelming and has not gone unappreciated! THANK YOU!

i have not gone on as elle yet but i promise i will make announcements as soon as i do. i have been rehearsing in addition to my show schedule and am continuing to fall in love with the role.

i may have lied when i said i would try and get back to every comment on facebook and this website.... i didn't realize the responses would total in the 1000's!! i will read every single message, but i am hundreds behind on even doing that yet, so be patient!!!

hey guys! PLEASE forgive me for not writing in awhile.... things have been INSANE!! but i'll get to that in a minute...
first of all.... CONGRATULATIONS to BAILEY!!!! she is a firecracker on stage and the absolute perfect elle woods. she looks stunning in her costumes and she is the perfect leader for the show. i am so proud of her and so impressed at her journey. m
so, my life has been insane!! and i haven't been able to say anything as to keep you guessing about the end result... BUT... now you know, and now i can dish!!!
i started rehearsals for legally blonde to enter the cast as a a delta nu (named leilani) and as the understudy for elle and margot. i am beyond excited to be joining this zany cast and to become a part of the blonde family!! i debuted the same day as bailey!!! and can i say, hearing those cheers as i popped my head out of the sorority house window in "omigod you guys" was a feeling i will never be able to explain. and the audience cheered on my li'l solo, too!!!!! i don't think i could hide my smile for the rest of the show!!! i am so looking forward to completing my FIRST WEEK ON BROADWAY!!!!!
besides "legally blonde", i did a reading of a new musical called "VOTE!" written by ryann ferguson and steven jamail, directed by ryan j davis... all of them up and comers in nyc!!
AND i also just performed in a pre broadway reading of "catch me if you can" TODAY!!! it is directed by the incomparable jack o'brien, choreographed by none other than jerry mitchell, the unbelievable music and lyrics are by marc shaiman and scott wittman, and the GENIUS book was written by terrence mcnally. it was an all star cast (including 3 other "blondes"... lauren zakrin (mtv), kate rockwell and nicolette hart (broadway)!! it was all i could do not to gawk and totally go crazy over the incredible people in the room.
i am performing in a benefit for the new globe at new world stages on monday, august 4th with lots and lots of broadway stars!! (i don't know why they are asking ME to do it... but i'm not turning it down!!! haha!)
i have been on lots of auditions and you will be seeing me on tv soon... more on that later. ;-)
and, of course, i can't forget.... i've been tending to my new puppy, loving on my boyfriend, Grady, eating lots of good food and sharing lots of laughter with friends AND i made it back to montana for 3 days for a combo celebration of my dad's, brother's and grandpa's birthdays, and my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. it was SO fun and there are pics of it on my facebook account!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! for your comments, your advice, your funny stories, your well wishes, your questions, EVERYTHING. this experience has been incredible for me and i am still totally overwhelmed and thrilled and nervous and EXCITED!! you guys have been such a blessing throughout this process and i got some good advice from larry o'keefe and nell benjamin (music and lyrics for "lb") the other day... to always surround yourself with people who remind you that your glass is half full. watching my bad auditions and cranky moments, bad hair days, etc. all aired on nationall tv (!!!!) was harder than i ever expected. but all of you fans... FRIENDS... absolutely showed me the glass half full, instead of letting me dwell on all of the disappointment and frustration. my undying thanks to you.

OMG.
I am on TV. MTV.
I am a finalist, one of 10 girls chosen to compete for the role of Elle Woods in Broadway's "Legally Blonde"!!!!
The show premiered this Monday at 10PM and will play every Monday at 10PM on MTV for the next 7 weeks for a total of 8 episodes. EEEEEEEEK!
It was a crazy, wonderful experience and you will see quite a journey on my part. I cannot tell you if I won or not, or how far I got... or not... BUT... I will say.... TUNE IN!!!!

Hello again!
I am frantically packing and organizing to go to White River Junction, VT to play another dream role!! I will be playing Belle in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast!!" (www.northernstage.org) I will be in Vermont for Thanskgiving, Christmas AND New Year's... I don't think I have ever spent those three holidays in one place, EVER!!
Another update... my episode of Guiding Light airs on December 28th... I play "Louise," a campaign enthusiast and my scene is with a character named "Buzz." 3 whole lines, kids! 3 whole lines!!
I hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather... I know AUTUMN is MY favorite season... hee hee hee!

Dream role: Eponine... check, check!!
I just returned to NYC after a 6 week run of Les Miserables at the Pioneer Theater in Salt Lake City, UT. A dream come true... beautiful show, beautiful people, beautiful surroundings... I am a very blessed and very lucky lady!

Now I am gearing up for some projects here... I will be in a production of TULLY (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER) at the NYMF (New York Musical Theater Festival) in September. You can go to www.nymf.org for more info and show dates, etc. I am also going to be on "Guiding Light" as a waitress. If you blink, you'll miss me, but nonetheless... :-) Don't know the air date yet, but I will let y'all know.

So, that's all on my end... hope you are surviving the summer heat by whatever means necessary... I know I have developed a voracious and seemingly insatiable hunger for ice cream... mmmm... ColdStone.

Wow! It has been good to be back. Catching up with friends over drinks and good food... reacquainting myself with the sounds and sights of this vibrant, creative mecca... taking classes... auditioning... walking miles and miles and miles around this island... I am a happy girl!

Thank you to all who have asked about my song-writing/recording progress. I am soaking in all of energy and taking my sweet time. I have got my hands in many baskets, in typical Autumn fashion... so be patient with me! (I should take my own advice!)

Hello everyone!
I can't quite believe it, but I am DONE with my tour of "Little Women." We closed in Portland, Oregon on August 20th . . . exactly one year from when we started the tour in San Diego, CA! A year, a WHOLE year visiting 31 cities across America. 382 performances. Wow. An amazing experience and a wonderful journey.
I will be back in NYC in September, and I can't wait to be back in that crazy city! I will resume my position as "professional auditioner extraordinaire" and get used to living off of Ramen noodles again. ;-)
I will be working on more music and will eventually have some new songs to post along with dates of open mic nights and performances. Stay tuned!

Autumn is closing in on the end of her tour with "Little Women." Less than 2 months from now she will be back home . . . in NY . . . or LA . . . we don't know yet!! She is a "where the wind takes her" kind of gal.
One thing she is sure of, however, is that she is thrilled at the possibilty of staying put in one city for longer than a couple of weeks!! (The hotel life is losing its allure . . . she yearns for a comforter on her bed and a fridge with some comfort food.)

i am currently in baltimore, md performing at the hippodrome theater. it is a great city with that beautiful harbor, lots to do and very "colorful" people. ( the bums actually have "scams" here. not the regular "ninjas killed my family, need money for kung fu lessons." no, here some of them even have suits!! makes the walk to the theater adventurous!)

anyway, i miss you all and am sending you warm, summer thoughts.

Today marks the day that Autumn is turning over a new leaf! She's actually going to put her music out there on a website to develop a fan base! Go Autumn! Then, when she signs a record deal and records her single, a ton of middle americans that have seen her on tour and get monthly updates from her site - will rush out and buy her first single . . . making it top the charts!!!

While working on her demo, Autumn got the offer to play the frail and kind Beth in Little Women. The contract began in August and lasts a year. She continues to enjoy it and her fans' only complaint is we want to hear more of her stellar voice!!!
